’To the little fairy’ - The new temporary exhibition shows the toy-trade history in Budapest from the end of the 19th century to 1989.
The most famous old shopkeepers reappear here with their shops and goods. The offer of the socialist big enterprises and stores respectively reminds visitors of the post-war era. The exhibition evokes the toy-exhibitions and fairs from the 1960s-70s. Besides the old objects, newsreels of long-ago display toys forgotten by today's kids. The little visitors can take modern toys in hand, while the adults can call back their childhood by indoor games. Because
