1848 Memorial Museum (Emlekmuzeum), Pakozd
The memorial museum presents the events of the Pákozd Battle and the 1848-1849 Freedom Fights. Erected on the 130th anniversary of the battle, the building was designed by Ildikó Sasi Nagy.A digitally controlled layout presents the battle. The collection includes period flags, various arms and replicas of weapons.
A documentary film shown in the museum details the events of the revolution and freedom fight.
A spectacular view onto Lake Velence opens from the windows of the museum.
Tourist publications and postcards are on sale in the museum.
