Godollo Town Museum (Varosi Muzeum)
Hosted in the town's oldest building, the Museum's exhibitions provide an overview of the ways in which indigenous Reformed farmers, immigrant Catholic artisans, Jewish tradesmen, intelligentsia and artists have all shaped and enriched the town.
Several aspects Gödöllő's history may be of interest to a wider audience: the Gödöllő Artists' Colony (1901-20) whcih was the only organised society of Secession in Hungary, the 1933 World Jamboree of Scouts, and the Máriabesenyő church of pilgrimage. Two private collections also enrich the museum's material: Ferenc Ignácz's ethnographical and natural scientific collection from Oceania and Mihály Zoltán Csupor's cultural history collection.
Permanent exhibitions: Gödöllő, the open town; The Gödöllő Arts Colony (1901 -1920); Mother Nature; The World of Oceania - Ferenc Ignácz Collection; The Mihály Zoltán Csupor Collection.---
