TV Tower, Pecs
The TV tower stands 176 metres tall on the 535-metre Misina Peak. An express elevator whisks you up to the glass walled café. There is an open viewing platform for visitors above the café.
Buses 35 and 35/A will take you from the main station to the Misina peak in less than half an hour. Although the Misina is much lower than other peaks of the Mecsek, it is still a favourite spot for visitors because of its proximity to the city and the excellent transportation available.Until the 1960's the József Kiss lookout tower built in 1908 stood on the site of the TV tower. Nature conservationist József Kiss was the secretary of the Mecsek Association and wrote several books about the Mecsek.
Can be visited at any time.
