Throat Ripping Inn (Nyakvago csarda) Kunszentmiklos

The Throat Ripping Inn on the Szabadszállás road was an official stop on the Pest-Pétervárad postal route. The name of the inn came from the crime of passion committed there in 1801 when the barmaid's throat was cut in jealousy.

A small collection of ethnographic material is set up in the building. Among the material of the exhibition, there is mention of the fact that on the morning of the last day of June 1801 the barmaid was found with her throat cut.

May be visited upon prior arrangement.
