From the 1st of December till the 24th at 5 PM, advent windows will be opened on the front of the Gerbeaud House to show blow ups of contemporary artists’ works, completely different every day. During this period you can see an exhibition from the original works of the 8th Advent Calendar in the Hungarian Museum of Trade and Tourism.

It is a combination of two famous exhibitions that shows mock-ups of 26 bath buildings. Public baths, a laundry boat, a swimming bath and other special baths can be seen in the most collected and entertaining exhibition in the Hungarian Museum of Trade and Tourism.

Henrik Kugler founded the famous Gerbeaud confectionary 150 years ago, in 1858. October 14th of that year, was the day when the citizens of Budapest could read in the daily press about the fancy café that opened on the József Square.
