The Memorial Chapel standing next to the museum is dedicated to St John Capistran. It was designed by Kossuth Award-winning architect György Csete.

The exhibition includes the work of such outstanding representatives of Great Plain artists as József Koszta, Gyula Rudnay, Vilmos Aba-Novák, Adolf Fényes and  Ferenc Medgyessy  from the mid 19th century to 1945.

Containing undisturbed groves with white poplars and willows as well as a wealth of significant flora, this landscaped garden is located near the River Körös.
